My original plate is missing. What do I need to send to have a new plate made?

If you do not have an original plate we need:

• A clear photograph of the original plate
• The overall height and width of the original plate.
• It is also useful to measure the distance between rivet/screw hole centres

ALL MEASUREMENTS MUST BE ACCURATE but in my experience they are ussually to the nearest 1/16".

Do you need my original plate?

If you have an original plate and are willing to send it, it is always better to work from the original if possible.

Can you include serial numbers on plates?

If you wish me to include serial numbers on the plate I do need proof that the numbers are genuine

Are numbers stamped into the plates?

The numbers on the new plates are not stamped, but instead are etched in the plate when it is made. This allows me to match the style and size of numbers/lettering with those on the original plate
